Stories by Graham Rogers

When This Was That

Behold the sea, now cold and flat,
Where once the summer surf rolled in.
Upon this sand our children sat
With melting ice and chocolate grin.
Then lovers, flushed in hot embrace,
Now hand in hand in silent grace
We stroll the shore in scarf and hat
And dream of times...
When this was that.
